Toy Review- Playskool Busy Ball-tivity Center

by mom on January 7, 2009

What a great time to review toys as we received MANY for Christmas and have quite a collection. I will be doing a toy review every Wednesday, so check back for toy reviews for infants, toddlers and preschoolers.

Busy Ball-tivity Center- buy it HERE for a great price!

Our 8 month old received this and really seems captivated by it. Unfortunately, he seems to get frustrated when he picks up the pieces and they no longer function until I put them back in place; this is a safety measure to ensure that if baby falls forward, he/she is not injured. He also tries to pick the structure up and this also is a cause for frustration. He is delighted by the toy’s colors, air flotation and cute shapes. Here are the item’s features:

Treat baby to some poppin’, droppin’ funtime with this air-powered activity set. Cute jungle animals and a ladybug entice little fingers to grasp and explore. Press down on the ladybug to start the action and keep this jungle moving and on the ball. Parts “magically” move to baby’s exotic adventure. The smiley-faced monkey pops out of the tree! As the air starts to flow, lively music plays and animal sounds seem to bring this activity set to “life”. Colored balls swirl around the “pool”. Little hands can reach in and pull them out, then drop them back in to watch them swirl around and around. Place a ball on top of the “volcano” to make it hover! Stackable palm tree, elephant and alligator pieces spin, twirl and “chomp” when placed on their separate ports, or stack them for a different perspective. It’s a jungle out there – and that’s what your baby will love so much about this air-powered play center.
