As I mentioned in Starting My Home Daycare, it is important to have a contract in place before any little ones come into your home for care. I say this out of experience as my little friends' moms have decided to end the care I have been providing as their situation has changed. Fortunately, I found this out as I was handing them their contract to sign 1 month before they plan to terminate care, and not 1 week before; make sure you state the grace period for notice of termination Also, you don't want to get stuck with liability issues if, by chance, the little monkey falls down the stairs. Please check the above link for sample contracts that you can change if you need to. For example, make sure you have the right holidays listed in your contract as they are different for each country.
