I am finding that I need to "destress" these days. I think it may be post holiday stress or the winter blues, but stress none the less. Here are a few things that I have researched that may help if you are feeling a little jacked up:
1. Heal yourself: We hear this over and over BUT it's the truth; exercise, a healthy diet, regular sleep, moderate to minimal alcohol intake, and no smoking will make you feel less stressed.
2. Get organized: Physical clutter reminds us of things that need to be done and that's stressful. Remove your physical clutter and you'll eradicate your mental clutter, plus you'll feel energized. Please go to http://topten.org/public/AG/AG306.html for a simple organizing solution that will work on any space.

The statistics are scary and prove that we need to be more open with our kids, so that they feel that they can disclose information to us without feeling worried about what the consequences may be. Here is another website containing statistics that may alarm you.
