Homemade Tortilla Chips

I made chili in the crock pot today. I got lazy and forgot to make the homemade bread to finish off supper. I didn’t want store bought bread to complete my yummy meal, so I decided to make homemade Tortilla Chips. This will save me money as I won’t be tempted to buy other items if I go pick the chips up at the store; this is the recipe I used:

HOMEMADE TORTILLA CHIPS

 

1 pkg. flour/corn tortillas (12 package)
Nonstick cooking spray
1/8 tsp. paprika
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/8 tsp. chili powder
Spray each tortilla with cooking spray. Sprinkle lightly with spices. Stack tortillas and cut in half, in quarters, in eighths. Single layer on cookie sheet. Bake or broil 5 minutes at 350 degrees. A tasty, low fat, low salt alternative.

UPDATE: These are delicious. I made them on whole wheat tortillas and they turned out excellently. Take a look:
