Filing

I have always been some what organized. Now that I have kids, I am very appreciative of that fact as my life seems to be a whirlwind some days. I thought that I should share some of the organization tips that I use in hopes that you may share some with me:

1. Always keep your bills in a “to be paid” pile, that way you won’t lose track of them or forget to pay them. When they have been paid, place them in a to be filed pile.

2. Get a filing cabinet. You will never lose a receipt, for that item that doesn’t work, or misplace tax information ever again. Tax season is so much less stressful if you just have to lift a file out of the drawer.

3. TOYS- UGH! Every child should haveĀ  a toy bin or shelf in their room where they can keep their individual treasures and toys. No matter how hard you try to keep toys in their rooms, they will always enter other rooms in your home. I have a toy bin in the livingroom and 2 in the play room. This way, the toys at least are tidy!

4. At the end of each day, tidy your living quarters free of toys and papers. The less clutter, the better and more productive you will feel.

5. Keep a running grocery list on your fridge or in your kitchen some where, so taht when you discover that you need something, you can just add it to your list.

6. If you use coupons, keep them all together, in an envelope or in a coupon organizer (best invention ever). When they arrive in the mail or if you ee them in the paper/ flyers, cut them immediately and place them into the organizer.

7. Keep a calendar of upcoming events some where you will notice it to track all doctor’s appointments, school events, outing, etc., so you can keep track of all of them.

Please share some your tips in the comment section below!
