This week my husband tried his hand at making Calzones on pizza night. He used the same pizza dough recipe as before and the same ingredients, but folded the pizza in half and added some water to the edges as he pinched them together, so that they would stay together. He then baked them for 9 minutes after brushing them lightly with olive oil. Its our way of eating a new treat the frugal way! They were delicious! Next Saturday, for Valentines Day, I asked him to make breakfast calzones with scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. I cannot wait!
