I previously posted about natural mosquito repellents, but if you are scratching due to insect bites (or maybe your baby is in discomfort) try putting scotch tape over the bite as mentioned in Parenting Magazine.
Apparently, it gives the skin a different sensation, thus relieving the itch and it also keeps fingers from scratching the bite....

My son is horribly allergic to mosquito bites. I’ll have to give this a try!
I’m going to give this a try! I always get huge itchy welts when I get bitten and they’re SO HARD not to scratch. Thanks for the tip =)
