This isn't REALLY frugal- but it will be replacing a meal out in a restaurant that we usually treat ourselves to on Mothers' and Fathers' Days. My hubby will be taking our youngest boy with him to the Monster truck show here in Ottawa tonight. This is awesome considering that my soon to be 4 year old is non-stop monster truck and transformer motivated:) Each ticket is around $30 (pricey), AND yes, we did buy protective ear gear for our son, which ran us $10; but a supper out for the 4 of us is usually around $70. I also get a little break with having time with the baby alone! A win-win situation-
