Everyone has those people in their lives that they can't give a big gift to, but would like to give them something just to say I am thinking of you this Holiday Season: Christmas Tree Cones. My 3 year old son and I collected pine cones this week on one of our walks. We painted them with acrylic paint, added sparkles, some beads, and a string, so that people can hang them on their Christmas trees. Just that easy (and almost free). We will wrap them in tissue paper, add a ribbon and hand them out mid-December.
