I cut the crusts off my son's sandwiches as he doesn't eat them anyway. It saves money on bread because if I don't cut the crusts off, he will leave 1/2 and inch of bread all around the crusts. I then cut the crusts into small pieces and put them in a baggie in the freezer to save for supper salads. They are excellent tossed with olive oil, sprinkled with seasoned salt and broiled for 2-5 minutes at 400F. YUMMY and frugal!
