Child Proofing the Frugal Way

I don’t knnow about the rest of ya’ll, but I refuse to remortgage the house in order to child proof my home! That stuff is too expensive! You can spend hundreds of dollars trying to ensure that your wee one is safe toddling around your own home! I had heard of people using pool noodles for their table edges and such, so I had to try it out on our fireplace hearth. IT WORKED! This is how you do it:

1. Using an Exacto Knife (or other sharp blade), slice the noodle along its whole length

2. Gently pull the noodle apart to open it and put it along the edge

3. DONE!
